Privacy policy
Draft: this policy describes what the site does today and has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer.
What we collect
- Account: your name, email, public handle, and a salted hash of your password (never the password itself).
- Community: the threads and replies you post, and moderation records about them (reports, holds, removals, strikes).
- Security: short-lived records of sign-in attempts and sign-ups (including network address) used to stop abuse; these are deleted after about a day.
- Waitlist: the email you give us, used once to tell you when something launches.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data, run advertising trackers or load third-party analytics. Your email and real name are never shown to other members; only your handle is.
Who handles it
The site runs on a server we control. Cloudflare sits in front of it to deliver and protect the site, and a transactional email provider sends our confirmation and reset emails.
Cookies
One cookie keeps you signed in. We set no advertising or tracking cookies.
Your choices
You can ask us to export or delete your account and personal data. Posts may be retained in anonymised form where needed for safety records.
